House Rules

Not too many…you are on holiday!


1.  No infants or children or pets for safety reasons.

2. No events.

3. Primary Guest: Over 21 years

4.Check in/Check Out Times: Access to property before 4pm on check-in day is not permitted. We do not allow early arrivals or late departures as the cleaners need time to ensure The Hyde is cleaned and prepared to our high standard. Please ensure you vacate the property by 10am on the day of your departure so the cleaners can gain access. 

5. No extra guests are permitted to stay overnight at The Hyde. All guests must be booked in advance.  

6. Please use the outdoor shower (hot and cold water) to rinse off all sand, including your wetsuits. Bringing sand into the bathroom shower may cause it to block. 

7. Please do not take the cushions, rugs, bath towels etc., to the garden or the beach. Beach towels are provided and garden rugs and cushions for the hammocks. 

8. No smoking please. 

9. Please do not light candles or make a fire. The trees are tinder dry due to the hot summers. 

10. Please use the BBQ with care. The underside of the BBQ must not be blocked by grass, sand or similar. 

11. Please do not take the BBQ to the beach. 

12. Only use the BBQ outside in a well-ventilated place. Do not use the BBQ in the kitchen. 

13. Please only flush paper down the toilet. A bathroom bin is provided for everything else. 

14. Please do not move the furniture from its original position. 

15. Please turn off the television before closing the cupboard doors. 

16. Please leave all the books and games in The Hyde. 

17. Please report any breakages or damage to your hosts within twenty-four hours of your departure. Accidents do happen!
